Office Master Contact and warranty Details

Should a chair prove to be defective due to faulty manufacturing or components within the warranty period stated on the underside of the chair then Office MASTER and ErgoRAP undertakes to repair or replace at no charge the faulty goods subject to the conditions as shown below.

The warranty applies for the period stated on the label, which is found on the underside of the chair seat, from date of purchase. The warranty is void if this label is removed.

Terms and Conditions

1. This warranty operates in all States of Australia.

2. The benefits conferred by this warranty are in addition to all other rights and remedies in respect of the goods which the Purchaser has under the Trades Practices Act and similar State and Territory Laws. Office MASTER’s liability for a breach of condition of warranty implied by such laws is limited to the replacement of the goods. The Purchaser hereby acknowledges and agrees with Office MASTER that, so far as permitted by law, all other conditions, representations or warranties whether express or implied including any implied by any Sale of Goods Legislation or other statute of any State or Territory of Australia, shall be excluded.

3. To claim under this warranty.

3.1 A defect resulting in the non function of the mechanism, gas strut, base or castors. Office MASTER reserves the right to determine whether the loss of function is due to faulty components, or incorrect use of the product.

3.2 A loss of shape in the foam upholstery. Office MASTER reserves the right to determine whether the loss of shape is due to faulty materials, or incorrect use of the product.

4. To honour this warranty Office MASTER will repair or replace the defective part or replace the chair in entirety if it is found to be unsafe or damaged beyond normal repair free of charge.

5. No claim can be made under this warranty if in the opinion of Office MASTER or their representative:

a) The manufacturers operation and care label have not been followed.

b) The damage has been caused by misuse, accident, abuse, neglect, negligence or excessive wear and tear on the part of the Purchaser.

c) The defect results directly or indirectly from unauthorized repair, alteration, modification or acts of God.

5.1 The Purchaser will arrange all transport of the defective chair to and from Office MASTER.

6. This warranty is non transferable by the Purchaser.
